PAMI maintains strict confidentiality guidelines. Clients may choose the level of confidentiality suitable for their individual projects. Level I This is the level of security accorded to research projects undertaken for public information. Data, results, and reports are secured against public viewing until the time of official release. However, public knowledge of the project or viewing of the project work is permitted. Level II This is the most common level of security for Client-funded projects. There shall be no explanation to the public about the objectives or nature of the work. Data, results, and reports regarding the work will be secure against viewing by anyone except PAMI personnel and the Client's authorized representatives. Also, the Client's name shall not be associated with the work. However, public exposure of the work may occur when operating in a farmer's field or when visitors tour PAMI. However, no viewing of equipment details will be permitted within practical limits. Level III This is the highest level of security. The work is kept from the view of the public at all times. Only assigned PAMI personnel and Client's authorized representatives have access to the equipment and/or results. Both the Client's name and the nature of work being conducted shall be secure from the public. Data, results, and reports regarding the work will be secure against viewing by anyone except PAMI personnel and the Client's authorized representatives.
